The Ontario Police Curling Championships and Bonspiel were held in Midland, Ontario January 23-27/19. The Heasman, Goodchild and Mcneil teams competed in the Championship round robin starting Wednesday while four teams from the Toronto Police Curling league attended for the Bonspiel Friday and Saturday.
Congratulations to the Lloyd team with Fred Lloyd, Glen Desilets, John Patterson, and John Cowan who handily won there three games and took home the OPCA Bonspiel Champions trophy as repeat winners.
Time to put away the golf clubs and “dust off” the Curling Broom!
The Toronto Police Curling League is looking for experienced and non-experienced curlers for this year’s curling league.
For Non-Experienced players, COME ON OUT AND GIVE IT A TRY
