FREE FAMILY SKATE DAY

Skate Day information

Welcome to the FIRST (and hopefully to be) ANNUAL FAMILY SKATE!  Please join our President and the rest of the Executive of the TPAAA as they host a FREE FAMILY SKATE DAY on SUNDAY FEBRUARY 22nd, between 2:15 and 5:15 pm at the CANLAN ICE SPORTS ARENA located at 159 Dynamic Drive in Scarborough, just a hop off the 401 on Markham Road.

This event is COMPLETELY FREE OF CHARGE and is OPEN to ALL TORONTO POLICE AMATEUR ATHLETIC ASSOCATION MEMBERS AND THEIR FAMILIES.

Not a TPAAA member yet?  I know…. It doesn’t seem possible, but it happens.  😊 Come on down to skate, we will have Staff in attendance to help you sign up for all the TPAAA benefits.

Christmas time is a particularly challenging time for food banks.  The Daily Bread tells us that 53% of their food bank clients have missed a meal to pay for something else.  Food banks get hit hard over Christmas… and then what?  The TPAAA Executive is asking you to bring a non-perishable food donation to the event to help keep the Daily Bread stocked up for 2026!

The Arena is located on Dynamic Drive, just hop off the 401 at Markham Road and go north a little bit.

What else are you doing on a family weekend, if not MAKING MEMORIES WITH YOUR FAMILY.  Bring them out, enjoy a social moment with your peers and friends, and get the kids on the ice.  Light Snacks and Hot Beverages will be provided by the TPAAA.  Can’t skate?  Our General Manager can’t either (and he grew up in Scarborough!!!) but he’ll still be wobbling around the rink.   Did I mention that your current TPAAA Past President is a national class skater?  What a great opportunity for on site world class instruction.

Big Thanks to Mike at FIN Mortgage for covering the ice cost for this event!

We look forward to seeing you at the event.  If you are planning on attending, please drop a courtesy email message to Nicole.arokium@tpaaa.ca so we can get the refreshment count right.

See you on the 22nd!

Special thank you to Michael Harrison for covering the ice fee for the event.  Consider supporting the businesses that support the TPAAA.
